About the team
Our firm is supported by a 40-strong team, in departments specialising in all the areas needed by our clients. When you become a client of Goodchild, you’ll be looked after initially by a partner who will ensure all the right plans are in place to deliver exactly what you need from us.

Meet the partners
Tash Harris
Tash looks oversees all in-year accounting for our clients, looking after the VAT, bookkeeping and payroll teams. She works with businesses large and small, to provide services from bookkeeping, to management accounting through to full outsourcing of their in-year accounting work.
Tom Coombes
Tom looks after the compliance and administrative areas of the firm. Tom ensures that our work is at the highest quality and that our compliance with the many rules surrounding anti money laundering rules.
Our partners are responsible for our team members in the departments within the firm, as well as specialisms carried out by us. Tim, Tash and Jamie look after clients directly, ensuring that everything they need from Goodchild is delivered by the right person and at the most appropriate stage.
Jamie Steadman
Jamie is responsible for our accounting output, heading up the financial accounting team. Jamie’s clients are typically larger in size with a focus on compliance work. Most of our clients who require audits are looked after by Jamie.
Tim Emmony
Tim oversees the personal taxation side of Goodchild and advises many clients including those with an individual tax focus or planning requirement. Tim is a resident of Glenfield and lives in walking distance of the office!
Based in Glenfield, with national reach
We’ve been proudly based in Glenfield since 2016 and look after many household names, both in Glenfield itself and the surrounding areas.
In 2022, we became part of Gilroy Finance Group which means we have access to sister firms’ expertise, offices in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire as well as in Leicester city centre.
Of course our home in Glenfield remains, as does our personal service and dedicated accounting expertise.
