Goodchild Accountancy is an accountancy practice based in Glenfield, Leicester.
Our dedicated team of staff have years of experience in providing a wide range of accountancy services including, year end accounts, in year bookkeeping, personal tax, payroll and much more.

Having worked with lots of clients, we understand that every client's needs are different. We have therefore become very adaptable with our approach and is something that you can be open with us about. Our default practice is to be very efficient, we know that you’re busy and do not need to have drawn out lectures on a new tax policy that may or may not apply to you.
Straight-talking
We don’t use jargon when we don’t need to and we will speak to you like a human being, albeit professionally.
Experience
Between the whole team we have hundreds of years experience and the capacity to always be on top of new legislation. We know that one person can’t know everything and that’s why we employ specialists in most accountancy areas.
Should you find yourself needing something in our blind spots, we know who to ask and where to go to. We’ll even go to them ourselves if it’s appropriate to do so. In short, our years of experience means that we’ve got you covered.
Software
We set-up at a time where the accountancy industry was taking the leap towards new cloud based systems. Since then numerous systems have been established - to name a few of our favourites that we know well - Xero, Dext, Quickbooks, Sage, Auto-entry, Free-Agent.
Our promises
You’ll always be looked after by a partner
They may not be sitting up until 8pm doing your accounts but they will be worried about your overall strategy and top-level advice. When you sign up you’ll get their mobile number.
The human touch
Our main office number is always answered by the same people and who will know where you need to go. We will never implement an automated menu option on our phone system.
Competitive fees
Despite us being a larger firm, our fees are more aligned with local firms than firms of our size. If you are coming from another firm* we promise to match their fees.
*Must be a comparable service level and not be a compliance only provider.
UK based
We do not outsource any of our work, including phone calls and every employee is (and always will be) based in one of our offices in the UK.
